# How-To Steps:

01 - Prepare cucumbers by peeling and chopping; measure mint, lime juice, sweetener, water and ice; optionally gather cilantro and ginger if using.

04 - Pour the purée through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth set over a large pitcher; use the back of a spoon to press and extract all liquid, discarding the pulp.

06 - Fill glasses with ice, pour the chilled beverage over ice, and finish with cucumber slices, lime wedges and mint sprigs.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It’s the kind of refreshment that makes you forget you were ever tired, even if just for a moment.
  • This drink somehow transforms a handful of humble ingredients into a glass that’s almost too pretty to sip—almost.
02 -
  • If you forget to strain the mixture, you'll end up with a drink that has the texture of a morning smoothie, not a refreshing agua fresca.
  • I once swapped filtered water for sparkling water after blending, and that fizzy lift turned out to be an accidental stroke of genius.
03 -
  • Always use a mesh sieve or cheesecloth to strain—it’s the difference between a silky drink and a slushy.
  • A drop or two of orange blossom water whispers something floral and unforgettable into every glass.
